the linguist

 

my mother speaks english spanish and french

 

her laughter sounds the same in all three

 

little code switcher

she’ll swap between the first two without knowing it

 

i can barely speak one

but can hold my pace when following her

 

her smile

no matter the language

is a dead give away

    This is sweet! I can understand the sentiment about the smile, having grown up around bilingual people myself. “Code Switcher” I like that.
