“…I wasn’t gonna pour out a satisfying poem every time I sat down to type.  He told me to just go write and not be afraid of writing something that sucks.”

~Buddy Wakefield. Live for a Living.

Originally, I wanted my poems to be grand pieces of writing: 10 pages long, 4 minutes worth of performing.

I’ve had a recent change in attitude in embracing every idea that comes my way.

Because of this, all the little ideas that I’ve come up with have turned into poems.

As my father has asked me once: “Why can’t that be the poem?”

That is a wonderful question Papi.

I have my answer: “There is no reason.”
